    Evidence Standard

Every claim we make in public, with its receipts.

This is the ledger. Each credibility-bearing statement on this site is listed with what class of evidence it rests on, what that evidence actually is, and where you can check it.

    Human review rule
When a conclusion depends on saying one thing caused another, DSG requires human review before that conclusion is included.

Rows marked Human review required may be read, cited, and argued with: but no causal version of them is published until a person at DSG has verified it. We do not invent statistics, ROI, funder names, or motives. Where the record is thin, the gap is named instead of filled.

    Evidence classes
    FACT
Verifiable against a named, checkable record.
    SYSTEM HYPOTHESIS™
A structural reading of how a system behaves. Stated as a reading, never as proof.
    INFERENCE
A conclusion drawn from evidence that does not itself state the conclusion.
    UNKNOWN / NEEDS VERIFICATION
Named openly as a gap rather than filled with an estimate.

    FACT

Fredericka Deena holds an MPA and the CFRE credential and has worked across grants, institutional philanthropy, corporate capital, public capital, and earned revenue.

    Checkable against a named record
    Where it appears

    Fredericka, About, Studio

    What it rests on

Credential records and professional history held by DSG; CFRE is a third-party certification with a public registry.

    FACT

Community can be typed by more than geography: geographic, identity, cultural, experience, and issue.

    Checkable against a named record
    Where it appears

    The Underneath, Ideas

    What it rests on

Rests on published community-development scholarship distinguishing place-based community from other forms of community attachment. DSG's five-type taxonomy is its own arrangement of that literature.

    SYSTEM HYPOTHESIS™

Capital decisions are shaped by relationships, reputation, proximity, discretion, and institutional familiarity: not only by written criteria.

Held for human review: no causal version published
    Where it appears

    Home, The Underneath, For Funders

    What it rests on

A structural reading drawn from philanthropic and public-finance practice literature and from DSG's own record of decisions. Stated as a reading of systems. No named person or institution is assigned a motive.

    INFERENCE

Community-created value is frequently undercounted because it is not documented in a form institutions are permitted to credit.

    Home, For Organizations, For Funders

    What it rests on

Drawn from repeated engagement patterns where the operating work existed before the documentation did. The inference is about legibility, not about the quality of any organization or reviewer.

    SYSTEM HYPOTHESIS™

The three patterns published on the Evidence page recur across DSG engagements.

Held for human review: no causal version published

    Evidence

    What it rests on

Recorded patterns written from practice, not from a single verified client case. Each entry states what remains unproven. Outcome lines read 'Not stated. Held for human verification.'

    UNKNOWN / NEEDS VERIFICATION

Client outcome figures, ROI, and dollars-raised totals.

Held for human review: no causal version published
    Where it appears

    Nowhere. Not published.

    What it rests on

DSG does not publish outcome or dollars-raised figures. Verified engagement records will appear only once a client clears them and the documentation is complete.

    Sources

No source, because no figure is published.
