Good work should not remain invisible because the right people were never introduced to it.
Studio projects are built in public over time: an overlooked issue, a credible set of partners who keep their own identities, and a capital structure that can actually hold the work.
Better We™
A national Capital Alignment project.
Better We™ assembles fifty independent community-based organizations around a shared national narrative and evidence thesis — while every organization keeps its own identity, attribution, data, and autonomy. No merger. No lead agency. No fiscal capture.
- An organizational profile written with you, in your language.
- A local evidence snapshot with source, date, and geography on every figure.
- Translation of that local evidence into the shared national narrative.
- Inclusion in the shared story and the shared data set, with attribution to you.
- A shareable brief your organization owns and can use anywhere.
- Selected group learning and strategy sessions with the other participants.
- Visibility and opportunity where it is appropriate and where you consent to it.
- Use of the shared language and assets the project produces.
- Priority access to related Studio opportunities as they open.
- No guarantee of funding. Participation is not an award and does not promise one.
- No transfer of your data or your donors. You keep both.
- No shared brand replacing yours. Attribution stays with the organization that did the work.
Open Community DAF™
Some of the strongest community organizations are difficult to find if you only look where philanthropy has always looked. We make them easier to see.
Donor-advised funds, family offices, and major givers move a large share of private capital on relationship and discretion rather than open competition. The Open Community DAF™ is our discovery and curation work on the community side of that lane: a curated, book-style collection of organizations that donors and advisors can actually explore.
Donor-advised funds are one of the three capital pathways a giver can use with DSG, alongside direct gifts and institutional grantmaking. A DAF holder or advisor can ask DSG to surface curated community opportunities and, where it fits, be introduced to an organization already prepared for that conversation.
Submission is free. Inclusion is curated. No one can buy placement. DSG is not a DAF sponsor and holds no charitable assets.
Projects begin as conversations.
Tell us what you are seeing in your place. If it belongs in a project, we will say so — and if it does not, we will say that too.
