    DSG Studio™ · Sprints

Bring the work. Build it with us.

You do not need another year-long class. A Sprint is a time-boxed production experience: you bring a real opportunity, you build it with Build My Capital™, and a Capital Architect reviews what you produce.

Scope and dates are confirmed in conversation. No Sprint guarantees a funding decision or an amount raised.

    What a Sprint is

A Sprint is not a grant-writing class. It is a time-boxed production experience: you bring real work, you build it with Build My Capital™, and DSG reviews what you produce with you.

    Scheduled now · GivingTuesday, December 1, 2026

An introduction to fundraising — while you fundraise.

You do not take a fundraising class and come back later to try it. We build the campaign with you while you learn what the work is doing.

GivingTuesday Build Sprint — $200 per organization. Six weeks, virtual-first, leading into GivingTuesday on December 1, 2026, with a thirty-day stewardship period after it.

    Format
    • Virtual-first, so an organization anywhere in the country can take part.
    • Six weeks: four live virtual build sessions (Tuesdays, 6:30–8:00 PM ET) and two short virtual office-hour check-ins.
    • One optional in-person Campaign Build Day in Columbus on Saturday, November 7, 2026, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET — laptops open, real pages, emails, and lists built in the room. Optional; Columbus location shared with registered participants.
    • A 30-day stewardship period after GivingTuesday, because keeping the people is part of the campaign.
    • Sessions build assets inside Build My Capital™. Nobody sits through a lecture.
    The build, in six moves
    • 01 · Build the askWhat are we inviting people into? The goal can be dollars plus new donors plus volunteers and ambassadors — not dollars only.
    • 02 · Build your peopleMap the relationships you already have: board, volunteers, parents and families, former participants, vendors, friends, neighbors, partner organizations. Then choose five to ten ambassadors.
    • 03 · Build the story and the campaign pageOne clear message, one clear action, one real story, one proof point, one reason now. Community dignity is preserved. No pity copy.
    • 04 · Build the outreachThe actual email, text and WhatsApp messages, social posts, personal asks, ambassador toolkit, donor and volunteer list, and calendar.
    • 05 · Run the campaignLaunch readiness, a tested donation page, day-of roles, live social updates, donor response, and ambassador coordination.
    • 06 · Keep the peopleThank-you inside 24 to 48 hours. An impact and relationship touch in the first seven days. A second touch, a volunteer invitation, and a recurring or next-gift invitation where appropriate in the first thirty days. Ninety-day stewardship thinking after that. The point is not one day of giving — it is turning introductions into relationships.
    What you leave with
    • A campaign goal and dashboard — dollars, donor count, new donors, volunteers and ambassadors, as you select them.
    • A fundraising message and one specific ask.
    • A donor universe and list-building worksheet.
    • An ambassador list and an ambassador toolkit.
    • Campaign page copy.
    • An email sequence.
    • A text and WhatsApp sequence.
    • A social sequence.
    • A personal ask script.
    • A run-of-day checklist for December 1.
    • Thank-you language for the first 24 to 48 hours.
    • A 30-day stewardship plan.
    • A donor tracking sheet with the minimum CRM fields.
    • A short after-action review: what did we learn?
Campaign Build Day — Columbus — optional

Saturday, November 7, 2026, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET. Four hours, laptops open. Real pages, emails, and lists get built in the room with a Capital Architect at the table.

    • Optional. In-person attendance is never required, and virtual participants receive the same core build.
    • Columbus location shared with registered participants.
    Why this format
    • People give through people. A campaign travels through relationships that already exist.
    • Ambassadors extend the circle beyond the list you already own.
    • Stewardship after the campaign is part of fundraising, not an afterthought.
    • You do not learn fundraising by watching it. You learn it by running one with support in the room.

    The Sprints

“There are youth opportunities open and we never get them finished in time.”

    7-Day Youth Funding Sprint

Open now — cohort dates set with you

We select a small set of youth funding opportunities. Organizations build real proposals against them across seven working days.

    • A finished proposal against a real opportunity, with every gap marked rather than invented.
    • Reusable evidence, narrative, and budget assets your organization keeps.
    • Written human review from a Capital Architect before you submit.

“We finish one thing and then start from zero on the next one.”

    14-Day Funding System Sprint

Open now — cohort dates set with you

Two weeks on the layer underneath a single application: a real pipeline, a content bank you reuse, and the follow-up architecture most organizations never build.

    • A working pipeline of opportunities with decision dates and owners.
    • A reusable content bank — evidence, narrative blocks, budget structures.
    • Relationship and follow-up sequences, and a next-round plan.

“A bank keeps saying community development and we do not know what they mean by it.”

    CRA / Bank Position Sprint

Open now — cohort dates set with you

The tool prepares the repeatable parts: geography, community-development evidence, program economics, use of funds, and public research on the institution — plus the open questions.

    • A geography and community-development evidence package with sources.
    • Program economics and a plain statement of use of funds.
    • Public research on the institution and a written list of open questions.

Where judgment is required: A Studio strategy session is required. The tool does not and cannot determine whether an activity qualifies for CRA consideration — that is a regulatory judgment made by the institution and its examiners.

“This is a state application and the compliance weight is real.”

    State Grant Sprint

Open now — cohort dates set with you

Hybrid by design. The tool prepares requirements, evidence, and narrative structure. DSG works the compliance and context with you.

    • A requirements map read only from the opportunity itself.
    • An evidence table with source, date, and geography on every figure.
    • A reviewed narrative aligned to the state's stated criteria.

Where judgment is required: Human review is required before submission. This is not a self-serve route.

“We would be a good fit for a donor who has never heard of us.”

    DAF Opportunity Sprint

Open now — cohort dates set with you

Preparation for Open Community DAF™ consideration: the Opportunity Profile, the evidence behind it, and the plain description a donor advisor can act on.

    • A one-page Opportunity Profile.
    • The evidence fields that make it verifiable.
    • A written read on what is ready and what needs strengthening first.

Where judgment is required: Consideration for the Open Community DAF™ collection is free and curated. Taking a Sprint does not purchase inclusion.

    GivingTuesday Build Sprint

“We do good work, but we do not know how to introduce ourselves to a CSR or community investment officer.”

    Corporate / CSR Introduction Sprint

Open now — cohort dates set with you

We build the introduction package itself. Not a class on corporate giving — the one-pager, the reason it is this company, the outreach, and what happens after the first reply.

    • A one-page introduction a busy officer can read in two minutes.
    • A written answer to why this company or institution specifically.
    • Community and economic value stated with evidence and sources.
    • A first outreach email.
    • Meeting request language.
    • What to bring into the meeting.
    • A follow-up sequence.
    • A plain list of what not to ask for too early.

Where judgment is required: DSG prepares the introduction. We do not operate a corporate database and we do not guarantee access, a meeting, or a partnership.

    What a Sprint is not
    • Not a grant-writing class and not a curriculum you sit through.
    • Not a readiness assessment and not a score.
    • Not a promise of funding, and never a promise of an amount raised.
    • Not ghost-writing over you. Everything produced transfers to your organization.
    • Not a claim that software performs live external research. Where research is required, a person performs and reviews it.

Tell us the work and the deadline.

A person reads it and tells you whether a Sprint is the right shape, or whether something else is.
